Stretch Nozzle
Palmetto Reed offers a multiplicity of high performance stretch nozzles as an alternative to your standard nozzle and is adaptable to all air jet weave technologies. Our nozzle will reduce selvage waste and reduce Relay Nozzle dwell time. Palmetto Reed’s nozzle will provide consistent pick insertion into the Reed tunnel, which reduces the amount of filling stops and improves overall quality.
Stretch nozzles are available for Ereed/ Air savings and standard reeds.

Fringe Length Reduction
Higher tension on the Yarn as the 􀃶lling is being inserted will pull the Yarn tighter, which reduces contraction as a result will reduce the Yarn consumption.
Better Width Control
Maximum tension on the Pick while the Pick is being inserted will result in more consistent Greige fabric width.
Pick Insertion
Consistent pick insertion will also improve 􀃶lling stop level, improves overall quality.
Turn Backs
One of the problems with inconsistent Pick Insertion
or Slack Picks is that the cut Pick will turn back into the woven shed creating a defect.
Air Consumption Reduction
Our Nozzle will allow you to reduce your Relay Nozzle dwell times and to decrease your millibar (mbar) setting.
Long Nose with Block
Primarily used for Omni and Omni Plus Looms.
Long Nose mounted to Auxillary Reed
Ideal for applications were the Reed is Reeded full width.
Off-Set Configuration
Recommeded when the Loom is con􀃶gured with a Temple Bar.
