High Speed Video Camera

Palmetto Loom Reed is please to inform you that we have a high speed video camera kit. This enables us to assist customers with loom issues involving weaving accessories. We can video all loom brands and types. For example, we can film the reed, heddles and harness frames at high speed, and then view the recorded actions in slow motion to identify stress point areas such as in the following:

1. Reed Flexing

2. Harness Frame Flexing

3. Pick Action

4. Stretch Nozzle Performance on Air Jet Looms

5. Warp & Weft Yarm Performance

6. Heddle Bouncing, Leaning, or Binding

7. Rapier Gripper Action

8. Water Jet Weft Insertion Action

9. Other actions that might be causing issues that cannot be observed while the loom is operating at high speeds.

The videos can be downloaded from the unit tablet to a flash drive for the customer. We would be happy to assist you with weaving accessories issues that may be causing you trouble. Just let us know and we can set up a schedule to film at your plant.
